Sisterly Love at Arboleda and Art Walk

This past Saturday, we ventured out to Wynwood located in the Miami Design District for Art Walk.  It is held on the second Saturday of every month, if you've never been, go, trust me you won't be disappointed. Make sure to get there early and on an empty stomach. The streets are crowded with people of all ages and the gourmet food trucks share an open lot where you can eat, drink, and listen to good music.

Earlier that day we went to the first annual Arboleda fest, where locals sell vintage and handmade goods.  There was a great turn out, and lots of little ones running around, including Jack. Llorente Design is planning a debut at the next festival,  so be on the lookout for that. :)

To top it all off, the weather was beyond gorgeous! After the festival, we decided to grab dinner at Fratelli Lyon. Katrina and I definitely recommend the white chocolate/dark chocolate mousse, so yum! and Jack recommends, the vanilla gelato!

Good morning! It is such a beautiful and cool morning today in Miami. This is perhaps my favorite time of year, where the humidity in Miami is no longer suffocating us and we can lunch outside, and pretend we are in Paris.

I just read this lovely article, "What Do French Women Have, That We Don't?" (us girls in America) This article is a good reminder to us all, on how we shouldn't focus so much on the concept of beauty equaling perfection, but rather evoking an attitude of spirit and slight imperfection.

I finally received my home try-on kit by Warby Parker late in the evening yesterday. I must say I was very impressed with the sleek little black box the frames came in. I have 5 pairs to test out for 5 days, until I decide which ones I'd like to order. The only problem is, I love them all! So typical of me.

Warby Parker makes vintage-inspired eye wear for men and women that are not only super cool, but super affordable too (free shipping included) and excellent customer service.

Of the 5 frames I received yesterday, the Wiloughby in Tennessee Whiskey are currently at the top of my list. Oh yeah, they make sunglasses too. I think I may get me some of those too!
