Christie + Jacqui began in 1986, (note: there is a third sister, the wonderful Katrine Citrine). Always collaborating and concocting new ideas, we started this blog as a way to reach out to women seeking fashion trends, child products + clothes and event planning + parties. Eclectic, yes. However, we strive to keep an eye on design and functionality in mind.
The inspiration behind Hip Mama Hip Baby came about as a result of Christie’s son, Jack. Because of him, Christie has researched and experimented with baby products and loves to share her experiences with other mothers and, the ever-important, child caregivers (ahem, aunts and grandparents!) Jack is also to blame for the newly discovered love for event planning, but you can read more about that in Christie’s section.
